Privacy policy
What data this site collects, why, and for how long.
Data controller
Garage de Carrouge Aubert & Gloor SA, ZI de l'Ecorcheboeuf 27, 1084 Carrouge VD. For any question, write to info@garagedecarrouge.ch
Data collected
This site collects the data you enter in the contact form:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your telephone number, if you give one;
- your message, and where applicable the vehicle concerned.
One further item is recorded that you do not enter: the address of the page from which you opened the form, which tells us where an enquiry comes from. No tracker is used for this. This data is used only to handle your enquiry: it is not sold, not passed to third parties, and not used for advertising. It stays in our database until we delete it: no automatic deletion is set up: and you can ask for it to be deleted at any time.
Hosting and location
The data is stored on a server in Switzerland, operated by Infomaniak Network SA. It does not leave Swiss territory.
Trackers
This site uses no advertising trackers, no embedded social networks and no third-party analytics. Fonts and images are served from our own domain. One exception, described below: the used-car page loads a frame provided by AutoScout24.
Used cars: an AutoScout24 frame
The used-car page shows our stock through a frame provided by AutoScout24 (AutoScout24 AG, Zurich). Its content comes from their servers, not ours: opening that page puts your browser in direct contact with AutoScout24, which may set its own cookies there, under its own privacy policy. We pass AutoScout24 no data about you. No other page on this site loads anything from AutoScout24.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. It only keeps two settings in your browser (local storage): that you closed the information banner and, if you gave it, your consent to display the AutoScout24 frame. Neither can be used to track you, and you can clear them at any time from your browser.
We use no advertising, analytics or social media cookies. The only third-party content on the site is the AutoScout24 frame on the used cars page, loaded only after your consent.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, for it to be corrected or deleted, by writing to info@garagedecarrouge.ch
